Noosa boasts a temperate climate with warm water most of the year. Typical water temperatures are 19°C in winter (66°F) to 25°C ( 77°F) in summer. The seasons are:
As part of the Sunshine Coast, this area of Queensland experiences sunny days and perfect weather throughout the year, averaging 7 hours of sunshine daily.
The humidity is higher in summer, especially February, with the cooler drier months being winter. September has the lowest mean rainfall.
Noosa riverbank and many of the beaches face north, the ideal aspect in the southern hemisphere! Noosa Beach is also sheltered from wind by a nearby hill and National Park.
