Tourism Noosa

For a warm welcome and more information about accessibility in Noosa Shire contact Tourism Noosa:

Tourist Information Centre in Hastings Street Noosa.

Tourism Noosa has two Visitor Information Centres that are centrally located and easily accessible.

The friendly staff are waiting to help with all enquiries, whether you need directions for how to find something or would like ideas about local attractions that might interest you. You can also pick up a free copy of the Access Friendly Noosa booklet, maps and other publications from one of the offices or have it posted to you before you leave for your holiday.

There are two information centres at:

  • Noosa Heads (near the roundabout in Hastings Street)
  • Noosa Harbour Marine Village

Parkyn Hut.

Parkyns Hut information centre

Historic Parkyns Hut in Poinciana Avenue Tewantin incorporates ramp access and has a wide selection of information covering both coastal and hinterland areas. The Hut is staffed by local volunteers who have a wealth of knowledge and time for a chat. There are fascinating old photos to look at on the wall and an interesting story to tell about the Hut.

Access guide books

In October 2001 Noosa Council launched its first 24 page Access Friendly Noosa Guide, detailing local facilities that are access friendly to those with disabilities. See publications for details.
